I feel your hand across my face
I want nothing more than to be embraced
Yet as I wake from this dream
I realize that nothing is as it seems
Is it really you that I long for
or just the warmth I lost once more
There is nothing that is certain to me
Except for my deep desire to flee
Where do I get such feelings
And why is it that I'm never healing
This dream is going from bad to worse
I'm losing my mind of course...
However, there is nothing wrong with insanity
It lets me do exactly as I please
Though the offer is overwhelming
And you are no longer helping
I must refuse this grand temptation
For it is the only way for my soul's temporary salvation
